Hi Mat;

I have learned primarily in the U.S. though I have been to Indonesia as well. I have had several teachers of pencak silat. Primarily I have studied Pamur, Raja Sterlak, and Jati Wisesa. Though I have also been introduced to several others, Mande Muda, Inti Ombak, Batak, Paseban Mutakhir, and Serak. As well some Kuntao. In any case, my history, training, and lineage of my teachers can be found here: http://www.combat-silat.net

I have chosen Pertempuran based on a discussion with my Pamur teacher. The goal of this system is to help people deal with combat against multiple opponents.

What is your silat style, teachers, and the history of the name?

Thank you.
Sean
